The most important relationship in our lives is the one we have with ourselves. If it doesn’t work, everything starts to falter: partnerships, careers, friendships, success. I see this time and time again – and I know it myself. For a long time, I worked, delivered, showed strength. Stable on the outside, increasingly empty on the inside. At some point, life gets in the way: Exhaustion, conflicts, physical warning signals. I went through ups and downs – right up to a heart attack.
