A few years ago, I was sitting in bed with a woman. She said: That was a punch in the gut. I was overwhelmed. Because ignoring your needs means you are ultimately deceiving yourself. Whether it’s intimacy, peace, closeness or self-realization – if you don’t know what you really need, you become more and more empty, you only function and run blindly into exhaustion, even burnout, perhaps another illness or personal failure on other levels because you lack the strength. Denial has its price. <\/p>\n\n Today I know that true strength means being vulnerable. Whether in bed, in conversation or in business – no matter where.
