My full calendar was my proof that I was successful, that I was needed. I thought that anyone who worked hard had made it. But at some point I realized that I was losing myself in the process. I was constantly tired, irritable and never really present &#8211; neither for myself nor for others. In the latest episode of <em>M\u00e4nner in Krise<\/em>, Frank Rechsteiner says the following: &#8220;I probably work more productively in five hours than others do in ten.&#8221; This sentence struck me deeply because it shows that it&#8217;s not about doing more, but about living more consciously. Today I see work differently. I work less, but with more focus and purpose. I no longer plan breaks &#8211; I live them. I make time for things that are good for me and I stop defining myself by my calendar. I have understood that success has nothing to do with constant stress, but with clarity, energy and awareness. Today, I work because I want to &#8211; not because I have to.
