But the new episode of <em>Men in Crisis<\/em> deals with an uncomfortable truth: if you want to please everyone, you end up losing yourself. <br\/><br\/>People pleasing doesn&#8217;t just mean being nice. It means constantly putting the needs of others above your own, avoiding conflict at all costs and making decisions based on how they are received by the outside world. The problem: your own self-worth is often lost in the process.  <br\/><br\/>It starts in small situations: When you swallow things, constantly explain yourself or prefer not to say anything for fear of reactions. But over time, these moments add up. If you are always striving for harmony, you lose the ability to set clear boundaries and make real decisions.  <br\/><br\/>This is particularly evident in the workplace. Leadership requires clarity and responsibility. Those who only moderate instead of making decisions not only weaken themselves, but also their team. And those who never express their needs are often overlooked: in terms of respect, responsibility or even salary.   <br\/><br\/>This episode is not a plea to become tough or ruthless.
