About the creeping loss of importance

Many men look at their situation and think: “It’s all good, I have my job.” In the new episode of Men in Crisis, I talk about why this is the new illusion.

It’s about a change that is happening quietly. You stay in your job, but your value drops. Not because you’ve become worse. It’s because the benchmark has changed.

You used to be compared with other people. Today, you are compared with humans plus AI. And suddenly experience alone is no longer enough. What counts is often no longer what you can do, but what leverage you generate.

The tricky thing is that you don’t notice it straight away. You continue to receive your salary, you continue to go to work, everything seems stable. But in the background, something fundamental is shifting. Your position becomes more interchangeable.

And this is precisely where the symptoms of a new crisis can be seen: not the loss of jobs. It’s the creeping loss of importance.

This episode is not alarmism, but a wake-up call.

New episode Men in crisis: Why experience alone no longer protects you, why your value is being redefined and why now is the time to reposition yourself.
