We say this phrase when we shirk our responsibility.
When we light smoke screens instead of living solutions.
When we prefer to moan, project and spread blame – instead of staying on our own side of the pitch.
The truth is uncomfortable but liberating:
– EVERY complex problem has a simple solution.
– Provided you stay with yourself.
– Provided you take 100% responsibility for your playing field.
And yes – that is provocative. Because it also means:
❌ No excuses.
❌ No “the boss, the politics, the partner is to blame”.
❌ No drama.
But rather:
– Clarity.
– Self-efficacy.
– A life without smoke and mirrors.
Let me make it clear: anyone who says “it’s not that easy” is behaving like an 8-year-old in a ball pit calling for mummy.
Adults, people who are clear-headed take responsibility.
They stay on their half of the pitch.
They stop projecting – and start creating.

Draw yourself a playing field today.
