You want to get out, but something is holding you back

Many men feel that they don’t really want to be where they are right now. The job feels empty, there is a lack of energy, Monday is something you have to “get through”.

And yet they stay. Not because they have to, but because they tell themselves that there is no other way.

The new episode of Men in Crisis is all about these stories.

“I need a plan first!”
“I need an investor!”
“Now is not the right time!”

Sounds reasonable. But it is often just a justification for not changing anything.

But the real thing is usually already there. The things that are easy for you. The thing you can talk about for hours. The thing you don’t look at your watch for. This is often where your true potential lies, but because it feels so normal to you, you don’t consider it valuable.

It’s also exciting to see how much our environment plays a role in this. Which tables do you sit at? What are they talking about? Is it about opportunities, ideas and development or just about somehow getting through to the next vacation?

Because at some point, certainty turns into stagnation. And habit turns into a life that feels increasingly narrow.
The key question here is: “Why don’t I dare to believe in myself?”

New episode Men in crisis: Why so many men are stuck in the wrong life and why the biggest step is often simply having the courage to start.
