#082 – Why Your Relationships Keep Failing

In the new episode of Men in Crisis, I talk about an uncomfortable thought: Maybe it isn’t other people who are destroying your relationships after all. Maybe the root of the problem lies much closer to home.

Many of us learned early on to conform—at home, at school, at work, and later in our relationships. We take on roles, meet expectations, and tell ourselves stories about why we have to stay exactly where we are. Eventually, we no longer even know who we really are.

We’ll discuss why this pattern runs through all areas of life, why we keep attracting similar people and similar conflicts, and why external changes often don’t help as long as we continue to follow the same patterns internally.

After all, relationships often reflect not only the other person, but also ourselves.

New episode of Men in Crisis: on why constantly adapting takes us away from ourselves, and why genuine relationships only develop when we stop playing roles.
